作家自ら滋賀県の山間集落に住み、日々そこに住む野生の生き物たちに遭遇する事で人とすべての生き物との共存を模索しつつ創作されていく彼の切り絵は、私たちにそんな生き物からのメッセージを届けてくれているようだ。いろいろな生き物をテーマとした切り絵作品を通して、自然回帰アートの世界を繰り広げているのではないだろうか。
今回"CARRÉ BLANC BIO et ART"での個展のポスターは環境保護、保全の観点から絶滅危惧種がテーマとなっている。
今まで身近にいた昆虫や動植物も地球上から消滅する日も近い。
今回、彼の作品をご覧いただき、またワークショップで切り絵を楽しみながら聴く作家の野生の動植物のお話により、絶滅の危機に瀕する動植物のことを少しでも多く知っていただくことが、地球環境を守り動植物の絶滅をくい止める第一歩になればと願います。

Pieces of art will scattered around.
Nao Kimura's installation piece this time is completed by participants removing the nametag with their heteronym (another name that you imagine for yourself ) from the numerous nametags suspended from large objets.
The artist uses the state of having part of the work scattered about to capture one answer derived from Pessoa's philosophy that “ the Many " and “ none ” can be seen as the same. Please come and participate in this installation art and touch it to experience for yourself the “ the Many = None " concept presented by the artist.
